The development of human knowledge is closely related to laboratory work, by conducting various experiments, students have the opportunity to get more information and discover their unexplored areas. If every teacher or instructor will rationally conduct laboratory work with students, it will lead to increase their interest in the subject. Through laboratory work, students get an initial idea about the methods of scientific research. This practical approach allows students to test their scientific findings in practice, identify and develop both their intellectual abilities and hidden creative potential. Laboratory work stimulates the mental process of identifying and solving problems. In this article, the authors presented the experience of conducting a laboratory experiment in embryology on the topic "Development of a chicken in an egg by day: timing and stages of embryo formation", conducted in the laboratory of Embryology at Gazi University in Ankara, Turkey, where they studied Academic Mobility in the 5th semester. The results of the research allow us to improve the teaching of embryology. The application of this methodology increases the level of learning the material and mastering the skills of solving practice-oriented problems, analyzing histological preparations. The developed methodology and the obtained results of the laboratory experiment can be used in the educational process when teaching biology at school and for teacher training in the educational program 6B01505.
