Lesson Study is an experiential learning experience that has a direct impact on developing local knowledge and improving teaching. In the Lesson Study model, teachers of the same class or course meet regularly to co-create and plan lessons aimed at finding effective teaching methods. As interest in the world of education has grown, Lesson Study has attracted teachers, experts and professionals from the region to use it to improve lessons - and this is also happening in Kazakhstan. It was first used in teaching mathematics in Japan and is now being used in other areas, including biology. The adaptation of the Lesson Study is interesting because Japan and Kazakhstan have different cultures. While much has been reported on how the Lesson Study is commonly used in Japan and the United States, there is little research on how it is used in Kazakhstan. Since this is a case study, it only focuses on the school. Interview and observation were the tools used in this study. The interviews were used to obtain information on how the Lesson Study is typically conducted, and observation was also used to observe the actual implementation of the Lesson Study with the researcher. In this article, much attention is paid to the events that occurred during the implementation of the Lesson Study program and the educational process.
