Abstract

  We are talking about the relationship of scientific and theoretical knowledge acquired by students in the process of studying at a pedagogical university in various disciplines, but little has been written about the creative interaction of a teacher with students in the course of their professional activities. The article analyzes the works of domestic and foreign scientists on the issue under consideration.In addition, a system-functional model of the teacher's activity in the formation of students' creative abilities is presented. Criteria, indicators, levels of formation of creative abilities of students are given. In the practical part, the methodology for the formation of students' creative abilities is presented. This model assumes further improvement and independent development of personal and professional competencies of future teachers. The elective course "Creative activity of a future teacher in a modern school" is offered to senior students. The elective course is designed for 45 hours, of which: lectures - 15 hours, seminars - 15 hours, practical classes - 15 hours. It should be noted that the problem of forming the readiness of future teachers for creative activity at school has not yet been sufficiently studied. Thus, the analysis of the educational process in pedagogical universities allows us to conclude that this issue has not been given due attention. The purpose of the article is to determine the level of preparation of future teachers for creative activity at school and to ensure its implementation by the author's methodology.
