Manuscript review and publication process
All manuscripts received by the editorial office of the scientific publication "ILIM" are subject to mandatory anonymous (double-secret) peer review. The review procedure goes through the following stages:
- At the initial stage of verification, compliance of the manuscript with the scientific direction and technical requirements of the journal is considered. Suitable materials are tested in the antiplagiat License Program. Manuscripts with an authenticity of at least 80% are submitted for the next stage of verification.
– At the second stage, the method of anonymous (double secret) peer review is used. For each manuscript, 2 reviewers are assigned who are fluent in the same topic. If one of the reviewers gives a "positive" conclusion, the other "negative", then the article is sent for consideration by the third reviewer. For materials that have received a "positive" opinion from two reviewers, a decision is made to "publish". At this stage, articles that have received a" positive " conclusion, but are warned by reviewers, require correction, are sent to the author and, after the author's correction, proceed to the next stage.
- At the third stage, the materials are checked by the literary editor.
- At the fourth, that is, at the last stage of verification, articles are submitted for discussion by the editorial board. The discussion uses the anonymous (Two-Way secret) peer review method. Also, the meeting is held in an online or offline format. Articles approved by the editorial board are published in the next issue of the Journal in accordance with the sequence and at the end of the review and correction process.
Materials that have passed the entire review stage are published in the next issue of the journal. For each article, a doi number is assigned and the journal https://ilim.okmpu.kz published on the official website.
